Training Workshops Information
Dr. Doug Rittmann has conducted training workshops for water and wastewater operational personnel throughout the, U.S., Brazil, Italy and Alexandria Egypt. The training workshops were normally 2, 4, or 6 hours in length depending upon the need. The four or 6 hour water treatment seminars are comprehensive in covering subjects related to disinfection, disinfection by-products, taste and odors in drinking water and balancing multiple water quality challenges including what the best plants do. The workshops have been eligible for continuing education credits from the State or National regulatory agencies. When the training workshops are given at State Water Association meetings in the U.S., the fee charged helps the association to offset expenses for their organization.
